Myofascial Work

Myofascial Release provides slow, gentle, sustained pressure into myofascial restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.  Fascia surrounds every tissue and organ in our body including nerves, blood vessels, muscle and bone. Trauma, scarring or inflammation cause the fascia to lose its pliability and it becomes tight and restricted.  Releasing the restrictions can improve the function of every tissue and organ of the body.

Myofascial Scar Release
Scar tissue can be painful or "stuck down" to the underlying tissues. This restricts motion and keeps the area from feeling "normal". Kate specializes in Myofascial Scar Release which can aid in decreasing pain and restoring motion to problematic scars after surgery or injury.
